Good news for freelance app developers as smartphone penetration grows

New data has revealed that smartphone penetration in the UK is increasing rapidly.

A report published by internet giant Google said 51 per cent of people in the UK now have a smartphone, up from 30 per cent in 2011, while 59 per cent of smartphone owners use their device every day.
